Thank you! It is a true story. It was really eerie while the ash was falling and really effected air quality. We immediately closed all the windows to keep it from getting in the apartment. The total ash fall was only about 1/10 of an inch, but as you can imagine, it got into everything. The airport closed for almost a whole day because the ash would damage the engines. The bonus was the following summer the plants were really green because the ash had a lot of nitrogen in it.
The plants would have loved it for sure!! But that must have been a long clean up...
