Wow - what a brilliant prose poem! Loved these lines in particular:

The upside down robin heralds the coming of fall. He appears just as summer draws to a close, and he's always mistaken for the last robin of the year.

Mirror images of worlds that never were, that never will be - an attempt to understand our reality from its opposite. Shadowy but beautiful in its own right. That's what I got out of it at least :) Really thought provoking stuff mate.
