Pull The Plug!!! ⌛A 5 Minute FreeWrite⌛
I am pulling the plug on steemit.... for just 2 days 1 night. I am off for a School Reunion. The class of 1985. Geez, feels like forever.
I had attended one about 3 years back, and nobody really remembered me. I was very quiet in my secondary years. I had found music and I was happy with my one friend and didn't care to socialise. I preferred to blend into the woodwork.
So, when this one friend of mine (we have known each other since Standard 1, since we were 7 years old) sent me a message; Hey, I know we decided we will not be going for anymore reunions but I thought this was a special one so I bought tickets. Come, let's go...
I said ok (she bought tickets!!), because we hardly ever got a chance to meet and spend time together because of our busy schedules and the distance. The last time I had my reservations, but this time, I don't really feel the anxiety. In fact, I am kind of looking forward to it. Besides, if I doesn't turn out well, I will just hide behind my friend like old times. haha
We will be driving to the city of Johor Baru which is in the state of Johor (which is the on the south end of West Malaysia, closest to Singapore) which is a little over 3 hours away. The plan is to leave at 8am, and be there before 2pm for the Hi Tea. The itinerary boasts of mingling (of course), games,lucky draws and a photograph session. We will then spend a night there, and head back the next day.
So I am going to be a good girl, and work at this thing called mingling. And my friend and I always have so much to talk about, we just normally pick up from where we left off. So, I will be off the phone and gadgets till I get back and plug right back into Steemit (hope I don't suffer from FOMO 😅)
