We had a major construction going on this year - and are just about to finish it finally! It was a ton of word but so much fun afterall...

Since moving in here we knew that one day we had to take care of a larger terrasse - this year it was to happen and it did... On our youngest 4th birthday in May we started with the first stones... and if anybody had told me on that day, that it would take half the year to get done, I would have stopped them!

A huge pile of basalt mounted up in our front yard. My eldest son had just finished university and had some time to help us before starting his first job. Lucky us, without him we would have been lost... It is amazing to realize how much physical power is in a 24 year old and how little is left once you are approacing the 50!

With the last bit of painting summer is over and the contruction area is finally coming to an end - we are exhausted now!

yes ufffda finally - now the only thing left is the cleaning up and organizing furniture etc... as you can see in the video most things have to find their final place - but we are getting there, step by step :-)
