The raspy voice coming over the loudspeaker was quite deep but uncannily feminine.

Bobby and his Uncle Jim ran towards the entry way to the plane.

Bobby had never been on a plane so he was very excited but also a little bit scared.

"Calm down now Bobby...... there's nothing to it now."

Jim was feeling exasperated.

He hadn't really wanted to come on this flight but Bobby had earned it.

4 A's on his report card and Jim would take him to Disneyworld.

The flight was uneventful. Jim let Bobby have the window seat.

When they finally got to Florida Jim couldn't wait to get to the hotel and settle in.

They were going to wait until the next day to actually visit the theme park.

Jim slept while Bobby decided to go exploring in the forest behind the hotel.

Jim would have gone to look for Bobby if he hadn't fallen asleep.

The next morning at 10 the alarm went off with a blaring ring. Waking up with a start, Jim immediately realized that Bobby was not in the room.

He ran to the front desk but no one had seen the boy.

Jim knew that Bobby liked to explore.

"Now where would I be if I were a young boy?" he thought to himself.

Suddenly he jogged out back where the forest seemed the thickest.

Behind an old run down gazebo, there appeared to be a large patch of mud with reeds sticking out from it.

A single shoe caught Jim's eye.

Jim recognized that shoe. It belonged to Bobby.

"Oh no." Jim put his hands to his face in horror.

"Those shoes were expensive."
