Board - Freewrite

He'd been there for 29 days already.

It had all been a misunderstanding to begin with but he was stolid and unmoving.

"They can come at me all they want. They can come at me everyday but they will never actually take me." John chuckled hoarsely.

Everyday was a fight and every one of them had their own special skill set.

There were wrestlers, and punchers, and flippers.

There were Kung Fu artists, and tree pullers, and wind whippers.

John's skill was particularly unusual.

He was a board.

No matter how much he got hit he never went down or showed any sign of pain.

"It's all pointless anyway. Stupid fight after stupid fight and no where to go but here."

Truly it was a miserable existence for everyone involved.

That evening the Ultradome would be packed.

John would be fighting Karakingdom.

Karakingdom was a flipper of the highest order.

Flippers were strong and fast.

They would catch you off guard, take you from behind, and flip you into the ground head first.

Many a competitor had lost his livelihood, and even his life, to a flipper.

Of course they hadn't gone up against a board.

John was perhaps overly prepared as he walked through the concrete archway.

A fight like this could go on for days or be over in seconds.

He was dressed head to toe in a black leisure suit with black boots and a black belt.

A black cowboy hat rounded out the outfit. It made no sense to wear clothes like this.

He was putting on a show.

Coming to the archway on the other end was a man dressed all in white.

Diamond studded pants shone in the brightness of the Colosseum.

This would be a good match.

The Board VS The Flipper.

John VS Karakingdom.
