How to create your own Freewrite Cabbage Borscht

It isn’t always easy to freewrite, so I decided to share a freewrite cabbage borscht recipe.

1. Take one daily prompt (in this case a cabbage borscht) and marinade it in your thoughts.
2. Add some words to the prompt and let it sink in for a minute. It’s good to use some sticky words, but don’t use too many. Some prefer to use the fictional brand, some use reality, some mix it up as well.
3. When you are done mixing the words, write them down in a document to simmer. I use an Evernote, which I like using for writing, but any writing app or document will do.
4. Remember that you have multiple types of recipes, you can either use a story recipe or a poem recipe. Some prefer cabbage borscht straight up in a story, some like cabbage borscht poems better, it depends how well you can put the recipe together.
5. After 5 minutes of stirring it up, it’s time for plating. You have different dapps to serve your plate. Lately I’ve been using a Partiko a lot, but any dapp works, you can even serve the cabbage borscht story or poem on Steemit.
6. When plating make sure to take a picture (add visual support) and it helps if you add a name in the description. Some also like to add tags to the plating, making it more visible. Don’t overdo it, 5 tags is enough.

And there you have it. A delicious freewrite cabbage borscht. Keep in mind that tast may differ and everyone has its own freewrite recipe.

To spice it up, you might get some sprinkles of curator upvotes in the first 15 minutes after serving up the freewrite. And yes, freewrites sometimes taste better with dolphin or whale upvotes, but it isn’t a necessity.

Don’t forget how to store it. Remember Freewrites tend to stay fresh for 7 days.
