Good Friday morning lovely Steemians! I am back to my morning routine of posting my 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge entry, a community organized by @mariannewest. It is cool that I ahve been thinking part for more than a month now! Today, the prompt is *sound check".
Mic test
One, two, one two
Everybody can hear the sound now?
Having a sound check
Before the curtains open
And the performance starts
The beat starts
The people are screaming
They were the fans
Waiting for you arrival
As you go out of the stage
And start singing
The prompt started
The lights are flashing
The audience goes louder
The beat is about to start
There is a tilted stage
Looks like a great opening
For the entirety of the concert
People are in applause
Some are stomping their feet in excitement
They are waving their banners
As the time comes closer
Sound check continues
To mke sure it is a pure entertainment
Then the whole theater is like moving
Because of the adoring fans
Who can't wait any longer
Time is running
Yet, you haven't shown up yet
The crew is wondering as well
They were looking at you
The main artist seems missing
Fans gets frustrated
They are waiting for you
There you are in a room
Relaxing like you don't care
You are already late
But you do nothing
You unprofessional performer
Do give the entertainment

Great use of a bold font to make me feel like I'm reading something loud!! It is sad how often the performer seems to take their fans for granted. Like large groups will always be there screaming for them. On the other hand, I have heard of some performers that have stage fright and get ill before every show.
