Fingernail: 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge
Good Monday morning lovely Steemians, and freewriters around the world! We're all probably loaded with works, and still busy doing a lot of things. May we all accomplish everything we aimed for this day. On the other hand, I am back on track and will be sharing my entry for the #freewrite prompt for today which is fingernail.
We met at the party in formal costumes.
The lovely music was played.
I saw you, and got me mesmerized.
I asked for a dance.
You accepted unhesitantly.
Everybody were dancing in a decent way.
Like how we dance.
The beautiful music diffuses over the place.
Until, you look agitated.
You seemed so scared.
Then you ran away from me.
As I held your hand, you took it away.
But a mark was left of my hand.
The fingernail scratches left on it.
That mark reminds me of you.
That night when I first meet you.
It seems like just a short time.
But it had me memory of that moment.
The scar remained on my hand.
I wonder when will I see you again.
That could be the second time.
But you remained a mystery.
