He wakes up at 6 am and feels refreshed. There's no lingering crankiness. He's glad to be awake. His son has just called out "Daddy!" and when he opens the door to the child's bedroom, the child gleefully calls out "Daddy!" again. He changes kiddo's diaper, and then his wife is right behind him. She's thankful for the extra 5 minutes of sleep, but also feels refreshed and happy about the day. While the child is brestfeeding, he checks his phone. It's been blowing up over night. There's a call from his friend who directed him in a short that the friend had always hoped would become something more. Wow. Lo and behold, after years on the shelf, an indie producer wants to make it. Not everything is set in stone yet, but the assumption is that the two actors in the short would play those roles in the film. Wow.
So, that's good news. Nothing to worry about today, but...
Oh my. His wife has been reading her texts, and the director who was interested in making the comedy horror short script that his wife wrote submitted it as her graduate thesis, and it was approved. WOW! That'll be a fun trip! Good news for everyone.
They bundle the kiddo up because it's a chillier morning than usual in Los Angeles, and they head out to the park, arriving just in time for sunrise. There's their friends who live nearby and have a daughter just slightly older. What an unexpected delight! Three of them are chatting happily while he and the kiddos play together. He gets to be the dragon that the magician rides. The other three adults, seeing how much fun they're having, jump in and play a giant frog, a vampire bat who only eats mosquito blood, and a Zipperumpazoo.

They bid their friends adieu and get back home just in time for first nap. Snack was had at the park. As kiddo sleeps, his friends who play games arrive, and they play brand new games and old favorites until kiddo awakes. Then kiddo has snack in his high chair and happily rolls the dice for them as they continue. Talk turns to-

Ach, there's a lot more to this day, but there has been well over 5 minutes since I began. Suffice it to say, he shoots a scene during second nap, there's rehearsal for a piece of theatre that kiddo participates in after second nap, he has an improv show in the evening, and the whole day ends with him journaling on Steem. Oh, and also somehow there are enough hours in this day for him to read his novel and watch TV with his wife.
