Hm. A novel. A nanowrimo novel.

Fist, let me nod to Sustainable Permaculture. Let's make changes in our environs that can perpetuate.

Second. There's so much we could to be sustainable, but we have to do these things on a grander scale than individuals choices. We have got to change the way we think about using space. We need more pedestrian spaces and more space that can be efficiently used for transportation. Cars, even self-driving electric vehicles, will never be a sustainable solution for transportation. Heck, even flying cars would and will eventually lead to congestion. Imagine a sky blotted out by cars overhead.

Third, is we can't keep treating humans as disposable... This isn't a rule of sustainability. Like, in fact, if we just needed 10 people to live happy lives, and the rest of humanity were considered disposable by them... well, I guess that is sustainable. But that's not what we want... right? It's not what I want. Do you imagine you're one of the 10? Don't. That can't lead you to happiness. And it's unlikely, too.
