Stick, dog! Play with a stick!
Sticky situation.
Like the one poor Shabron is in
I think about nothing but Chibera lately. Well, that isn't true. I think about lots of things, but when it comes to Steemit and what I'm doing daily, it's mostly Chibera. Isn't it funny that everything is... weird right now? Quiet. It feels quiet. Like, not good quiet. As Steem dipped it felt good quiet. The people who were fun to interact with stuck around and we lost a lot of the noise. But right now... Right now it feels like the people who are fun to interact with aren't around, and all you can hear is the rasping of paper shuffling. Which would be a nice sound in a book store, but this isn't a bookstore, it's a bank. And in banks, the shuffling of paper is ominous.
The referral for our son's ear doctor wound up in the recycling. Thank goodness it didn't stay there. I wonder if anyone will do anything more with this week's Punday. I'm grateful that we got a few puns in before the Hardfork, but a little sad that
well, no. I'm not really sad. I'm just freewriting. But that reminds me. I have a proposition for @paul.atreides. As you and he know, he's been the primary mover behind POCKET Fridays. I think I'd love for him to be awarded (by me) a substantial amount of POCKET for him to distribute to users so that they can vote for their favorite punsters. He'd have to figure out who would be likely to use it for its intended purpose. But I'd like to enlist him. Paul, you hear that?
Hey, @improv.
It's a good thing you got the stick in early. :)
Is Chibera up and running? I looked at the website and read a post recently and it seems like it's in the middle of getting there. You must be a part of it or something? I think they're running a contest, something to do with role playing narratives/backstories, something like that. You can see how much I remember. :)
It has not been all that fun the last couple of days. Those of us who can post and comment now must have been interacting with a lot of smaller fish before the hard fork. Otherwise, we might not even know it was happening, which would be sad, too, I think.
Guess we keep going for now and see where this all leads, right?
It's not. They aim to have some part of the game ready for Christmas, but I dunno if that's feasible. I'm not a part of it except that I love fantasy RPGs and have been loving writing stories in the world.
Yep, we'll see where it leads!
