let's talk about Splinter for a second. There's a story there about a rat who wanted more out of life, and who got it. He was always a smarter than rats actually are rat, wasn't he? I mean he taught himself ninjitsu while he was still pre-radioactive goo, so that doesn't seem to have necessarily affected him much. was Raphael still a romeo an was donatello a brainy fellow before they got changed? Like, is the implication that all animals have rich internal lives, they just can't express them unles sthey're human sized?
Well, that's a lot of thoughts about Splinter. Now what about the aesop fable about the lion with the splinter in its paw, who has a mouse take it out? OOOOOooooo mouse: rat. are we onto something? Is Splinter named after that fable???
Good question! So, following this line of thoughts, do the two stupid thugs Rocksteady and Bebop have a more refined musical taste than their master Shredder?

What I love most about this freewriting is that all our brains go in completely different directions!! I spend years of my life with Mutant Teenage Turtles play going on every day and didn't even think of that splinter :)
