Rodeo. I haven't been to many rodeos, but more than the average person, probably. Does Gymkhana count? What counts as a rodeo? There was no bull or bronco riding, but there was cutting and roping. There was also barrel racing, which is my game. I love taking the turns fast. Gotta be careful that the horse doesn't topple. Of course, while the horse is built for it, I'm not. I should get into jousting, except not really. The point is, I'm a medium sized fellow. A good rodeo fella should be smallish, but plenty strong. I guess I might be the right size for roping and so on if I were in shape and slimmer. And of course, if I were any good at roping. That's a skill I should maybe work on honing. It's not so easy in an apartment. And as a kid I got frustrated.

Which reminds me of juggling. As a kid I never bothered getting the hang of it. Do you know, I don't think I developed good work habits until I was an adult, which is kind of strange since I think of kids as having the kind of focus on a single task that develops good skillz. Or, rather. I guess i did, but never for any actual skill. But I taught myself a little fancy footwork as a kid that I later learned were real dance moves. Like Pas de Bourré ... oof. You don't know, but I cheated, and looked up how to spell that. Only the bourre was off. I'd spelled it bou rais. Which I guess is not so embarrassingly wrong.

But as an adult, I did teach myself juggling. Though pin juggling still hasn't clicked.
