Fall rains. The short, furry critter in a top hat and plastic yellow poncho, scurried down the drenched street. The street opened up on a two mile long meadow. Ah. The rains drip dripped on yellow grass and tall, browned sunflowers, bent over under the weight of their heads. Milk weed pods clung to their last fluff, now soaked.

Underneath the flora, the short, furry critter found relative dryness. The groiund was moist, and under that, the burrow was damp, but there was no downpour. Not even drips, just the scent of earth and earthworms. She stripped off the clothing that made her look like a rather dapper child who'd dressed herself, and she shook the last droplets of water from her fur.
