Prompt -5minutefreewrite
For https://steemit.com/freewrite/@mariannewest/day-453-5-minute-freewrite-wednesday-prompt-prompt
Ha! How meta. There's a wonderfully silly prompt if I ever saw one. Of course I must respond to this prompt promptly.
The promptest I've ever been was the day that I wrote my freewrite before the prompt came out. That was when we were visiting @mariannewest, and she told me the prompt. I guess I was even prompter yesterday since yesterday's prompt was a repeat of a prompt from day 99. So I wrote on the prompt nearly a year earlier. If you're early, are you prompt, though? HM.
Also, there was a day last year (or the year before, really), I don't remember which, when I'd written on a freewrite prompt that I came up with before other people were writing freewrites. Then that prompt appeared in Marianne's prompt feed after the freewrite community was established through her. That was also promptly predictive.
Oh. I have a thing to say that- well, that!
It's about having ideas and other people having ideas independently, and they're the same ideas. I guess it's just that. It's nice to do. I guess that's it. I guess it's the desire to tell someone else that you've also had that idea, and wanting to connect with them that way, but it feels like ...weird... to tell people publicly, "I also had that idea!" as if you're claiming their idea isn't original. When really, you're just looking for a connection.
Anywhoodles. Thoughts on people.
I love how promptly you responded to the prompt!!
Did I really repeat a prompt? My spreadsheet must be off! Never mind - I was using the prompt for the micro-fiction contest. Will have to double check in the future if we already had it and offer an alternative...
That's what I figured! It's not surprising that multiple people would choose "sunset" as a thing to write about.
This piece has a Dr. Seuss feel to it, I loved it!!
I'm glad you liked it! If you like my Seussian rhythm, keep your eyes on my blog. I do a lot of that with my freewrites.
Hahaha I love this one. Actually you can write whatever you like and add the prompt to it later

@improv Thank you for not using bidbots on this post and also using the #nobidbot tag!
One prompt I doubt you’re ever in need of is the one given when you’ve forgotten your lines, cos you’re the master of improv. 😉
Also, I always learn my lines!
