Gross two days in a row! Whyyyyy?

Mouse. Drops her groceries. Poor mouse. She's sad that she dropped her groceries. Will someone help mouse pick up her groceries?

I will!

There's a whisper of a ghost. A mouse ghost. This is mouse's future ghost self coming back to help mouse pick up groceries.

A truck whizzes past. Mouse ghost disappears. Ooo spooky. Mouse ghost returns.

I will!

They walk to mouse's front door together, Ghost Mouse presses the doorbell and an anvil falls through where ghost mouse was standing. Ghost mouse is no longer there.

Can you guess why all this is happening?

That's right. Ghost mouse in the first scene existed because she'd been hit by the truck. When she helped mouse pick up groceries, mouse wasn't hit by a truck, so didn't become a ghost then so that ghost ceased to be. But not too long after, mouse was going to then get hit by an anvil. Ghost mouse, a different ghost mouse. The ghost of the mouse that had been helped by another ghost mouse came to help so that mouse wouldn't be hit by an anvil. And then because she wasn't hit by an anvil, she never became a ghost and now the ghost no longer has ever existed.
