First things first!
Mold is what happens when you leave things sitting out on the counter all night. And then it grows on your tongue. Or maybe it's intentional on cheese.

It's also how you make plastic items or wax items or whatever. Or clay. You mold it.

It can also be the noun for the thing that you use to mold things... not your hands, but, like, the shape of a thing that you're making and then you pour the substance in it or press it around it. Or the things that comes out of the mold, too. So the object itself that has been molded is also a mold from the mold.

Can you use mold to make a mold?

Sigh.

Too much for one word to mean.

There's a time and a place for all of these. And it's now.

Chandra, the sorcerer, was looking for her moldy wand. She had left it in the fridge because it was just the right amount of moldy, and she wanted to retard the growth of mold on it. Blah blee bloo blah.

She wielded the moldy wand, one she found it, hidden between and beneath her many blocks of cheese, at the giant. The giant immediately felt uncomfortable, and wandered away to find a foot fungus doctor... which he didn't realize wouldn't help because mold isn't a fungus. It's a boring Gus. Gus is the name of all the things that grow on other things. Good old Gusses. Gussets. Gust of wind. Gussy Gassy. Gross Gassy Gus.
