I had two days to find a mason jar. It used to be easy. Mason jars were everywhere, and they didn't go bad, but in the bad glass attack of 2018, the jars were all conscripted into the army. Now, the only jars left are the ones with flat feet or small chips.

I needed to preserve some fruit. Unfortunately, fruit was less than valuable and more than expensive. So many crops had been destroyed, but those that remained had glass shards in them.
