Benevolent Dragon.
I've had the story idea for some time now, of a supervillain who only did good things. A benevolent dragon might be that way.
"How do you know they're a supervillain?" I hope you're asking.
Well, I think of it this way: There are a bunch of injustices in the world that regular folks fight to preserve. This supervillain wouldn't care about the democratic process, or at least wouldn't listen to the folks arguing in their city council meetings, they'd just build the dang homeless shelter where there used to be a parking lot.
Some other things might go down even more poorly... I mean, we're drawing on my personal sense of morality here... the supervillain would melt all the cars in the city center and redirect plenty of tax dollars to an efficient, effective public transit system.
I imagine this supervillain legit not doing anything evil unless ignoring the will of people who complain about how things are wrong for them because they aren't looking at the big picture. They wouldn't kill people, or really step across any lines. They'd just be the political will. Maybe that'd be their name, Political Will, Benevolent Dragon.
