Magical Towel | Short Story for Children (5-minute Freewrite Prompt: Towel)

"Come down now!" Susannea shouted at her son who was up there at the ceiling for almost one hour. She regretted presenting the towel to her son. But she had no choice as it was a gift from Princess Aladdin for her son, Cayou.

Ever since the arrival of the towel, life had never be the same. The towel helped alot in terms of automatically wiped the whole house clean and it would become clean again after 5 minutes for another task. Mopping the floor. Drying up Cayou's body after his bath. It was a Magical Towel.

But it had also created some chaos. Cayou was seen wearing it often because the towel can fly too. Either it was on his shoulder and he acted as Superman. Or it was right under his feet as his flying carpet. Cayou had since forgotten how to be responsible as a student who finished up his homework. He even woke up late everyday because well, the magical towel could transport him to school.

Situation became worse when Cayou used the towel at school despite prior agreement that he must not. Being an adventurous 10-year-old boy, he just wanted to show his friends of his cool gift.

This led Susannea to make a decision she wished not, to confiscate the towel and put it back into the secret box. This secret box has a spell only known to Susannea - whoever stole the towel would become towel itself, and the spell could only be broken after the 'towel' served to do good for one week.

Guess what happened next? Cayou stole the towel from her mum and turned into another magical towel. He cried but to no avail. He had learned his lesson and had to serve to do good everyday for one week in order to transform to boy. Mummy's heart was broken too but she knew this was the best for Cayou.

One week later, Cayou became boy again and had never been so grateful. Deep in his heart, he knew that he must not steal and also learn to obey his parents.
