5-minute Freewrite: Brand

Looking at the two ladies, which one will you approach first to talk to? Or which one do you think is more successful?

I guess the answer may vary depending on our background and the situation we are in at the moment. Companies all around the world paid so much to promote their brand, hoping people will buy their brand and ditch the rest. Due to advertisement and publicity on TV and social media, somehow, one way or another, we, as the viewers subtlely believe one brand is better than the other. And we go for that brand.

Ladies too, are taught through magazines and advertisement to use certain brand of cosmetics, perfume, bags or attire in order to achieve THE look.

Is wearing or using certain brand make you looking better? Of course, no doubt! Take for example, I definitely feel more elegant to drive a Ferrari than a Kenari (local brand in Malaysia). And I will walk and talk differently if I am wearing LV brand on me, with high class high-heel. Then, the next day I become usual self when on street market attire. With all the lah and the slang in the usage of my words.

Personally, I think whether you use or wear stuffs that are of good brand or not, it still comes down to how you behave internally. Most importantly is you able to wear that brand called security and wholesomeness on the inside, while having good brand on the outlook.

So brand yourself in such a way you are deemed honorable! Just my own piece of thought!
