If You See A Wild Pig

Well Officer...

"Let me put it this way...

"I was at home, with nothing to do, when I saw a wild pig running down the street, heading out of town. I was bored stiff, so I followed it, and after a while in the woods, I thought I saw it duck into a lizard cave a little after midnight. When I go in to look for it, it's not there. So, I come out, and while I'm fiddling with some change, a white cat with a red collar walked up and so I asked it where the pig went. It pointed to the trees where I heard a lot of laughing and talking. I come across a large group comprised mostly of bubbling cheerleaders and football players.

The Rest Of The Story

"As the cheerleaders were dancing, whipping their hair around and such, some of the football coaches were throwing junk into a pot of pasta they're cooking. I thought they might all be camping or something, but then I saw the wreckage from the airplane they must have been flying in. Propped up against a tree is one of the pilots, snoring away. Though there were no clouds in the sky, he's dressed head to toe for rain, with a red scarf, and the longest nose hair I've ever seen..."

"Sir. Sir?"

"Yes?"

"I hate to interrupt—it's a fascinating story and all—but I fail to see what any of it has to do with the missing psychedelics?"

"Everything, man. EVERYTHING!"

ABOUT THIS POST

This is a five minute freewrite option for the weekend. We were given several words to choose from to use as a single prompt. Instead, I decided to go for a column's worth, plus a phrase from another list. In all there are 18 different words or phrases. I incorporated them in the order listed, except for the first. All are italicized. You can see how far I got in five minutes.
