We have two ears and one mouth...If we used them in the same proportion our relationships would be better. (i.e. Listen more that we talk)
Most people don’t listen to hear, rather they listen to respond meaning they only partially understand what others say then go ahead and start forming what they will reply with in their head. It doesn’t make for good communication.
