Freewrite Supporter of the Week

You all know that we, at the Freewrite House, are all about supporting the community of Freewriters. We are so happy that this little 5 Minute writing exercise has turned into such a lovely place where friendships are being built and people are truly supporting each other.

We also appreciate those that are here making this community welcoming and fun. And all that are supporting the efforts of the Freewrite House and the Daily Freewrite Prompt.

In an ideal world, we would have mad delegations from the big whales - but alas, we don't. This is very much a homegrown project and only thrives with your support.

That said, we are not rich and can't reward you (yet) the way we really want to. But we can do this - we can declare one after another of you awesome people the Freewrite Supporter of the Week.

For that week, the featured awesome person will get at least one full upvote per day from the Freewrite House. Whenever possible, more than one.

We know that it is not huge but we want you to know that we appreciate you!!!

Week 4 - @byn

I am sure that I don't really have to introduce @byn to you. If you have been freewriting for any amount of time, you have seen Byn's work and if you are anything like me, you are in awe of the talent of this woman!

But this post is not about talent or writing skills. This post is all about how people show up in the community.

@byn joined the freewriters fairly early and she was there for the founding of the Freewrite House. As a matter in fact, her and @wandrnrose7 are the only plotters and planners who are still actively part of the Freewrite House Crew (there are more who are supporting all of you with their delegations = upvote)





@byn does both. As you know, she is bringing you the Freewrite House Favorites every Thursday and always tries to find the new writers who haven't been featured yet. You all can help her by participating in the Tuesday Recommend post.





She is also responsible for all the good graphics we have for our posts. (The meh ones are mine - but she is going to make them better soon 🤪)





Byn has also been a Freewrite Encourager and I see her commenting on so many freewriter's work all the time. She will even speak to you in sign language if that is what needed. In the gif above, she signed tree for the selfie challenge.





But Byn can also be serious and has shared that there are times when she is struggeling. That in itself is a helpful thing to read. Many of us have bad days and it helps not to feel alone during those times. Thank you for being so honest and real!

I hope many of you will join the Freewrite House in giving xtra voting love to @byn this week.
