Sugar cubes! A fiction
Dear friends
I am pleased to participate in the daily challenge of @mariannewest, Thursday's message: sugar cubes. Continuing with Mary's adventures, after her recovery after the fall, when she returned to the office, her co-workers had a surprise for her.
Mary's coworkers were in expectation of her return, so they organized a surprise to receive her. They proceeded to buy a chocolate cake, soda and some sugar cubes that she liked so much.
The reception for her would be a surprise since she would not expect it, she supposed that upon her return there would be no news but only the late work she had on her desk.
Upon arriving at her office, there was a welcome card with flowers on the cover signed by all the coworkers, and what she liked most was the bowl with sugar cubes of various colors that she had on his desk. After sitting down and turning on the computer, everyone approached her with the chocolate cake and began to sing a welcome song.
When they finished the song, she addressed them a few words:
"Dear friends, you have taken a lot of trouble, I would not know how to reward you"
After sharing a piece of cake with them, she proceeded to finish all the work she had overdue.
