After spending a week of intense work, Mary, like every Sunday, had more time to reflect on her life. Now she regularly attended the church's religious service that was near her home. There that day the pastor in his homily spoke about the benefit of serving others especially those most in need.

Until now she only shared on some occasions with her coworkers, besides being away from her family she could not interact with them and at home she only had the company of her dachshund. One of the words that most caught his attention is when the minister encouraged parishioners with the expression "step out of the shadow" and gave examples of people who dedicated their lives to the service of others.

Reflecting on his words, she set out to join a church community service group with the purpose of visiting sick people on weekends and bringing them help and words of hope.

With that determination, she was now ready to start the new week with a renewed encouragement knowing that soon she would be presented with good opportunities to demonstrate her talents by helping others.
