Cold person! A fiction
Dear friends
I am pleased to participate in the daily challenge of @mariannewest, Wednesday's message: cold person. Continuing with Mary's adventures, she prepared conscientiously to attend as a conference speaker.
Mary, excited about her next trip to the Conference, worried about whether she would be well received or if she would meet a cold person who could despise her.
Everything was a product of his imagination and lack of experience, so he set out to read personal development books that dealt with the subject. Carrying out an investigation on the internet, he stumbled upon a copy of the well-known book "How to make friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie. After literally devouring the entire contents of the book, she already felt calmer and willing to face the challenge successfully.
At the time of the trip, after preparing her luggage which included her personal computer and telephone, she called a taxi that would take her to the airport and immediately when riding in the vehicle, noticing that the driver treated her in a respectful but distant way, decided to apply the knowledge acquired. So she started a conversation with him about the latest events in the city, getting her to change her attitude at the end of the journey and attend to her in a kinder tone.
Upon arriving at the ticket office of the airline, the receptionist who attended her, noticed that she was a special person, so she assigned a preferential seat.
Mary, feeling all the attention she was being treated with until that moment, was glad to feel an important person.
