I thought your story worked well. It showed two of the opposing sides of California. It's so big tho, it has many opposing sides which, I guess, does make it interesting.
Thanks for reading! Agreed, there are so many different aspects to the state. I dont think most people truly realize how much land California encompasses! Many different cultures packed within one huge state.
Absolutely. Sacramento and San Francisco are in central California. There's a whole different world up there. I'm in San Diego, friends from England come over and say,"We have an afternoon free, let's pop up to San Francisco." The cowboys in Bakersfield. Hill people in the Sierra foothills, etc... All -in-all an amazing place. Gotta love at least some part of it! :-))
