Thank you for stopping by.
Kingfishers have a beautiful white collar. You can see it in the image above which, I think, may well be edited as kingfishers don't like to be in the open like that. Perhaps this one was tempted out to find a fish to eat.
When I was a student and could afford to go kayaking because of reduced fees for students, I was lucky enough to glimpse the fantastic turquoise blue of a kingfisher hiding on the bank of the river Thames near where I lived.
Have you ever seen a kingfisher?
