The Sky Is Clear (freewrite)

A thought that terrifies me is the fact that the sky never ends, it only changes. I suppose the same could be said for sideways too but that is not my point here. When I go out side and and look up I see not obstructions other then a momentary plane and cloud. other then that it's all clear. endless miles- millions of miles of clear.

Sure the argument can be made for asteroids and aliens and stars but even their vast sizes can not compete with the massive size of the universe.

No other point of view can complete to looking strait up. Every other direction offers something even if everything seems to be lost into the horizon. but with the sky, only mysterious clarity. A deceiving blue cloak. Something or someone beyond our ability to understand.

yup, the clear sky can be terrifying if you only look at it from the right angle.
