Day 71: 5 Minute Freewrite - Prompt: toothache
Maggie Megalodon was a very sensitive Shark who grew up on a large Southern Plantation in the Gulf of Mexico. Maggie hated when other fish commented about her size and she was prone to violent outbursts even over the smallest perceived slight. One time a school of steelheads laughed and told Maggie that her figure was as riveting as a Led Zeppelin, bad idea because Maggie had angrily grabbed a hammerhead and drove them to the Abyssal zone. Otherwise, Maggie was a sweet Shark who loved to chew on Tobacco Basslets while she worked and snack on Sunburst Anthias and Jellyfish all day. Because of this Maggie had a lot of problems with her teeth.
This morning Maggie had an appointment with the Tuna Tooth Inspectors at the Gulf South Affordable Dental Care Facility to get some relief from her latest toothache. They were the only local office with a room large enough to accommodate Maggie's overblown size, but they always allowed her to pick out her own room because no one dared insinuate that she needed the oversized space. In fact, the room had been specially built with her in mind because the practice depended on Maggie's business to keep them afloat. Maggie's regular Dentist was on vacation cruising the Gulf Stream so she was scheduled to visit Dr. Charlie today, and she was a bit nervous about seeing someone that she did not know. Like most Shark's Maggie dreaded going to a dentist anyway, and she couldn't stand the thought of those painful and annoying drills.
But once in the room and finding Charlie to be a very nice looking young and very buff fish, Maggie began to relax and even flirt a little with the doctor. Everything went just fine as Dr. Charlie swam in and out inspecting every tooth one at a time. Suddenly there was a loud exclamation from Dr. Charlie "WOW" he said, swimming right out where he could look the enormous Maggie in the eye he blurted out "Dear Me, That Is The Biggest Most Colassal Cavity That I Have Ever Seen" he exclaimed loud enough for the entire office to hear! What happened next is history, the dental office was nearly destroyed with one angry sweep of her indignant tail as Maggie swam away totally humiliated.
Now you know the reason that Charlie Tuna got canned!

Super fun story Deacon, I like the perspective you adopted in this tale, noone thinks that even sharks can have their feelings and sensitiveness!
