I love your mother-in-law! It sounds like she managed to be assertive, even at times impertinent, without ever losing everyone's respect and esteem, being the lady she was. Thanks for sharing this.
She was great, and her daughter took after her in a big way, and was wise beyond her years as a result. They were both a lot of fun, and I learned a lot just being around them. I miss them.
