I have gone back and read this from the beginning and I have to say that it is such compelling story! Poor Priya, losing her son to the mysterious Reapers and setting out to get him back, all alone. Strange that she's not been hurt along the way. Her car was destroyed and she was exhausted, but nothing has attacked her, she's being made to continue forward, not given the chance to turn back. Now she's come across a seemingly benevolent hippie and this man with the black eyes. You're ramping up the suspense here and I'm loving it!
