Amazing story Saryn! Your descriptions had me empathize with Christine as she clutched her rabbit while dealing with the sadness of the loss of her home to the floods. Then, when I was hoping that at least she'll be safe in the mountain, you drop that bomb of an ending!! I hope that they will escape the wrath of the water god!
