Understanding Life : Day 265: 5 Minute Freewrite
The basic of life if you ask me is living it, there is no predestined meaning to life, its meaning lies in the living, the mistakes, the wrong and right, the ability to let go, the maturity to keep shut when needed and speak up in the face of oppression. What more can I say? Life is lived forward not backwards by remembering the past and dreaming about it in a fantasy way. none of that can change things, thinking backwards does nothing but drains the power core of the mind.
There are so many mind enhancing books in the market, that leads me to another topic, the life of those who write, you see, there are so many fantasy authors that live in shambles, I mean they live a life of mess, addiction and the likes but when they put pen to paper, it inspires even the dead to come back to life.
This is so profound in the life of Christian authors, many are divorcees and engage in one secret sin or the other, these same people put up the best marital books on the shelf, NewYork bestseller things. Then we all begin to wonder, what actually wrong, the fact is anybody can be anyone when no one is watching, especially when you can hide under a keyboard the way am doing or get your face well powdered on the tv.
Time Up.
This is my entry into @mariannewest #freewrite
We all seek the basics in the end.
I'm bringing today's prompt and it reminds me of the movie Multiplicity where a guy makes a copy of himself to keep up. Then the copies start making copies: " He's special, all right. - We made a copy from Two. Sometimes a copy from a copy is not quite as sharp as the original." Great movie! Anyway, today's prompt has to do with the word copy: https://steemit.com/freewrite/@mariannewest/day-266-5-minute-freewrite-thursday-prompt-copy. Join us at the @FreeWriteHouse.
Well, one never knows. and some have one face in public and another at home - we all do to some extent. We are different in different environments. But many of us are true in our core to who we are.
And having a tough life is often a way to brilliant fiction - maybe to escape.
