Solidarity : Day 260: 5 Minute Freewrite
We were told to line up by the street, we all fall in line, everyone smilling as if been handed a ticket to heaven.
The president is expected to pass through this place, the first of its kind since coming into office. Our English teacher made a chalk drawing on the floor, telling us not to pass that line. We all obeyed.
Dan has proving to be a stubborn boy since I've known him, always disobeying orders.
Our joy knew no bound when we saw the president motorcade from afar. The siren blowing, we all started waving our country's flag at him, coming closer and closer, only for the motorcade to change direction into the left just some blocks away. Dan couldn't believe it as he stepped the line further forward in a bid to alert the president, we are all waiting for him, he is the man we all came here to see. I love him for that though, very outspoken.
The English teacher gave Dan a cane lash so heavy it made him cried out.
That's was how the day ended.
