Do you know Parasol : Day 202: 5 Minute Freewrite

Mum was a stark illiterate, I don't mean to shame her but that's the truth, people around find it hard to believe she hasn't passed through the four walls of the school because all her behavior and character are academically inclined, my mum was born in an era where it's a waste to send the girl child to school, but that didn't deter her from learning as she made a way for ourselves by volunteering to be the cook in a catholic school and run errands, she will sit down after the days work beside a classroom and listen attentively to all what they are saying, this secret act of her soon became known to the principal who is a Rev.Fr. and she decide to amuse by mum by scary surprise by presenting a dictionary before her and asking my mum to look for the word : Parasol.

Scared and trembling my mum told her she can't with tears in her eyes, the tears also melted the Padre heart and decide to give my mum a personal coaching.
Till date mum always amuse us if we know the meaning of parasol and we will all laugh.
