Thirsty, in search of your name
Now, the world is asking for my gain
Already making me to shame.

Childhood memories, still fresh
At the mention of morning ringing bells 🔔
A prayer, a hymn, whole heart was there
Starting to doubt if those years were wasted.

Preacher shouting nonstop, I'm blessed
"I receive it" "Amen" "Amen in Jesus name"
Seeing the unserious getting touched
Going home the same way I came, 😔

Son Of David, won't you look this way
Change of story, change of name
No hope, hope faded off, disillusioned
Still I plead, for my life a solution.

Fast, pray, sing, jump, did it all
To what is left undone that's never done?
Time is passing, give me a call
