I liked this, particularly the use of the prompt and the way you tied it to the story - a change of taste after Duckoden took back his power.
It will be interesting to see whether this - the change in what the two men considered normal - is a thread that will continue with the story, especially considering that it is made up of 5 minute free-writes bits.
Hmmm. Sounds interesting.. Now I definitely want to include more stuff that was "normal" to them before, but isn't anymore :P
