FIRE BURNING, TURNING HOUSES INTO ASHES

Two weeks ago, two fire incindents happened in Lapulapu City in which many of the victims are our students. Part of the program in our college is to extend help of those affected in a calamity. The semester was about to finish, yet many students extend their help through giving of clothes, goods while others shared amount of money for their schoolmates.
I know exactly how it feels when all your properties were turned into ashes in just few hours. Some could not believe it happened too fast where they do not have the chance to at least save some important things in their house, some were on shock and could not even know what to do since the fire went strong.
In every challenges in life, there you could witness the good side of the people ready enough to help others in their trying time. As the victim says, "we dont mind our properties, what is important is we are still alive."

I am so sorry to hear about the fires!! That must have been difficult!! And probably still is!! My heart goes out to all who lost their home and belongings in the fire.
Thank you. The government and other non government agencies have helped the victims already.
It's always so heartening to see people come together and help others following a tragedy. The material losses are so great but as the victims said, thankfully everyone was still alive!
