Liminal - a stream of consciousness poem for Freewrite # 195: the entryway
Greetings fellow Steemians! Here is my 51st 5 minute freewrite. (Disclaimer: these usually take me more than 5 minutes to write). The prompt is "the entryway". Many thanks to @mariannewest for hosting this daily freewrite!

Liminal
She stands in the entryway
Leaning on the door frame
Looking at me.
Her face is in shadow
But the look she wears
Is naked
And vulnerable
And meant to tell me something
Important.
Stupid shadows.
