Freewrite: Sustainable
In the weird times, I look to the sky for inspiration and nothing comes through. I'm hungry for new, for strength, for something that'll spark my interest, something powerful and sustainable.
My life is a gift, it keeps giving. Every moment that passes, a memento of my existence. I'm constantly trying to be more than I am, steady improvement as the day go by but time, the stream that flows in perpetuity never stops and takes me towards the perfection that eludes me grasp. I'm therefore cursed to wander the earth with this heavy burden, plagued by life and living through the weariness of my soul.
In the midst of destruction I heard this still voice telling me to tarry, with it came promises of a better tomorrow, timeless gifts and a sustainable mantra; keep moving. I guess when I get to the end, I'll know how it went after all.
So let it go, let the time burn, let it burn us down to the grave. Let it grip your soul and burn everything else. Time is our gift, after all.
