Since time immemorial,
You flatter as you sway.
The elegance,
Such mesmerising,
With colors bright as day.
You dance like the shadows in the night,
With flares dark and mysterious.
Kings and queens are anointed,
Celebrities flaunt it,
You bring confidence to those who put you on
Be it in public or in private.
Robes,
Effortlessly you bring it.
A good flowing robe does make one feel elegant. Lovely poem and I like your line:
