[5 Minute Freewrite] {Prompt: Describe your morning feeling} Feeling Old
Hi guys! Below is my very first entry for the 5 minute freewrite by: @mariannewest, if you want to join the 5 minute freewrite just click here.
I was waken up by my god children as they knock on my door asking for their christmas gift.
A ton of children was waiting outside of our house for the "aguinaldo" every christmas.
I was happy seeing their faces as the received the "ampao" that I gave to them which has some money as my christmas gift. Seeing their faces really completes my morning but I kind of feel sad as I go back in my rabbit hole. I have work to do, and as I sit in front of my laptop to start working it sinks to me that I really am getting old. Unlike being a child who receives gift from their parents, relatives and god fathers and mothers I am now the one giving to them. Not that I don't want to give but I think time has really past making me realize that as I grew older christmas is no longer for persons like me.

I too sit on my laptop and have passed the age of many things associated with Christmas... but I am glad to be alive, and glad God thought enough of me to give His Son!
