Interesting article and it's pretty much the same in Scotland and in other countries I have visited, We have lot's of unoccupied industrial units and retail premises, I just think it represents our evolution of a new economy and different thinking, online shopping and centralised shopping malls have turned our economy around. Throughout history not much stay's the same for a long period of time. However there are certain things that go on in our economy which is mind boggling, for example sending meat produce from New Zealand half way around the globe to Scotland for retail and consumption seems like a crazy idea because of the transportation and export costs etc but it happens and I still can't figure out where the profit is or why it's done as the UK has lot's of farming resources already to produce meat without having to import it from the other side of the world. Amidst it all I support the radical thinkers and game changers who are creating a better economy and environment with innovation.
