I think it really depends on the person who is doing the post. Of course, other people create competitions for similar purposes, but I do think that @hursh is creating some good content and genuinely trying to engage with people within the community. As someone who is just starting I think if it can help people become engaged and involved in the platform (i.e. the intention is good) then it is worth supporting.
