Was DTube Censored By Google?
Was @DTube censored by Google? Google just alerted me that DTube is harmful and has forcefully disabled the application! Does anyone know what happened there? (other than obvious censorship)
This is short because I was concerned and wanted to raise awareness as soon as possible and or find out what is going on.

Which device are you using? I would imagine a pixel would be more strict over the apps on it since it runs the "pure" version of android but the other devices should be pretty ok using the open source version of the software. Looks like we may need to move into blockchain based smartphones like the Finney Smartphone

I am still confused also to see that. I hope it resolve back because i can not see dtube been harmful. I just hope it is just a little problem and it is been solved back earlier

No it forcefully disabled it and just stayed on my screen saying "UNINSTALL" until I did and the app was unusable so I uninstalled it.
I think it's the same as for Steepshot. Officially it's blocked because of NSFW content.

Interesting. I didn't hear about that happening. So much BS going on.... At least hopefully it's showing normies what is happening
When I click Google Play link on steepshot.io I get item not found. But DTube can be found on Google Play.

Hmmm. I'm not sure what that means @boyanpro.
Maybe other people who downloaded @dtube and use it regularly can chime in?
But I am almost certain that @steepshot removed their app from the Google Play Store. I actually wrote an article about it here:

I read in a comment that it is unpublished by Google because of NSFW content. Anyway I can't install it anymore. And while it was installed on my phone I couldn't post anything. Which is kind of shame, Steepshot was pretty nice app.

What do you mean? I received it via having an Android OS and DTube was on their app store.
I was unaware that DTube has now an app on the app store!
They do but it's not working now lol
Right now I prefer to use Partiko to watch the video of Dtube!
