FreedomEx Road Map Update - Big things are happening!
Since our last Fundition post, complete with roadmap, a lot has come together for us at FreedomEx. Today we are happy to update you about our progress and future plans. In some areas we are ahead and in some we are a little later than we hoped, but today we will give you our updated Roadmap. We are committed to full transparency and always over-delivering!
Our mission here at FreedomEx.io has always been to function as a core service at the heart of the STEEM ecosystem. Our exchange features STEEM as the main trading pair, something we do not see in any other exchanges. As more applications are being built, it is important that these tokenized applications have a platform that can assist them in fund-raising, token liquidity, increased trading volume, and price discovery against the main steem token; FreedomEx.io IS this platform.
After hitting the ground hard since our launch in February, we are excited to give a glimpse of what is to come.
April 30th
Fiat Gateway
Through our partnership at Netcoins we will be releasing a fiat gateway where users can buy STEEM directly with ACH wire transfer in EURO, CAD and USD. This is going to be revolutionary in our ecosystem by allowing all projects, and especially our partner projects, to more directly raise funds from interested parties outside of the STEEM ecosystem.
May 8th
User Experience and Trade Interface Overhaul
We will be unveiling a whole slew of new features that we are testing now, we will launch on or before this date a completely refurbished and modern trading interface, STEEM account login integration, New user onboarding for STEEM, Referral tracker, FreeX staking and Success Share Pool visualization.
We will also be seeing the appearance of a Customer ‘Back Office’ where each person will be able to manage their profile, trade history as well as see their stats on their referrals and success share income.
Future Developments
FreedomEx Debit Card
While we have our partner contract ready to go for this development, we are choosing not to announce a date for this. We prefer to under-promise and over-deliver than announce dates that might have to be pushed back, which would let people down. Do know that after the updates listed above, we will soon be integrating a mechanism for our users to apply for a debit card that will allow the spending of STEEM at any vendor that accepts a debit card.
The Road Ahead
Rest assured that the road ahead is also filled with more exciting announcements, and as more people realize the power of what we are doing here, they will be eager to get on board and support themselves and their projects using our platform. We have new partners, IEOs and airdrops coming, be sure to follow @freedomex for all the updates!
FreeX Token 101
The core of our business is the FreeX token through which we will share the value we capture back to the community. FreeX has three important features:
- Free/Discounted Trading for Holders
Reduce the maker/taker fees while trading on FreedomEx by holding FreeX tokens. Zero Trading Fees for life will go to all those who have and maintain 1500 FreeX by and beyond April 30, 2019.
- Smart Drops
Successful exchange launches often include drops to potential users, but FreedomEx goes one step further by distributing the listing free to our FreeX token holders! Holders of FreeX will be rewarded with the chance to learn about promising new projects through our Smart Drops!
- Success Share
75% of all revenue generated from trading fees will go into the success share pool, to be distributed daily to the holders of FreeX Token!

@freedomex Team, If i will buy FREEX TOKENS on Steemengine and hold it on Steemengine then also i am eligible for the revenue share or it's mandatory to hold on FREEDOM EXCHANGE?
