RE: Sowing the Seeds of Freedom

This was a great read Aimee! I agree that lines have definitely been blurred between freedom and entitlement. And the best part is that the marches seem to not be for the "tangled web" of restrictions that governments actually enforce. (Like not being able to camp on your own land.) It seems like small changes that slowly infringe are welcome....but eventually they'll choke us out.

Thank you. No, the marches haven't been for the tangled web have they? We also have restrictions about camping on your own land. Some cite that the restriction is for our own safety but I would be willing to bet that there are more fatalities from auto or air travel than camping but you don't see anyone trying to ban those "dangerous" activities. Their motives are clearly financially driven. You're right, they will never strip our freedoms all at once, it will be a slow process, one that people will accept until they wake up one day and realize they have nothing left and no one to blame but themselves. I am glad to see more people "waking up" though. Perhaps, we can reverse this trend and reclaim our freedom. -Aimee
